Tina turner died of natural causes last Wednesday (24), aged 83 at his home in Zurich, Switzerland. The information was confirmed to the British Daily Mail by the singer’s spokesperson.
According to the newspaper, Tina’s death followed a “long and unspecific illness”. She had previously battled bowel cancer and suffered from severe hypertension for 40 years. The singer also underwent a kidney transplant, donated by her own husband, Erwin Bach, in 2016.
Representatives of the queen of rock ‘n’ roll announced her death last Wednesday with the following message: “with her the world loses a legend of music and a model person”.
