Tottenham Hotspur announced that its defender Eric Dier will undergo adductor muscle surgery and will miss the last match of the Premier League season against Leeds United on Sunday.
Dyer, 29, played 42 matches in all competitions this season with Tottenham, who finished eighth, 12 points behind the Golden Square.
Tottenham said in a statement on Wednesday evening: The defender will undergo a rehabilitation process under the supervision of our medical staff before joining the squad at the beginning of the preparation period for next season.
