Spain’s Carlota Ciganda won the individual title in the Aramco International Women’s Championship series, with prizes amounting to $1 million, presented by the Public Investment Fund, and which was held on courts at West Palm Beach Trump International Stadium in Miami, Florida, USA.

Ciganda excelled in the tournament, which saw the participation of some of the world’s first seeds, and ended on Sunday, by beating Czech Klara Davidson Spielkova by one stroke to secure her first victory of the year and her seventh victory on the European Tour for women.

The Aramco championship gives the winner additional points in her international competitive career, which guarantees Ciganda points for the renewed “Race to the Costa del Sol” during the year of the Solheim Cup, which is scheduled to be held in her homeland, Spain, next September.

This tournament, in which Aramco, Saudi Golf and the Saudi Golf Federation contribute, continues its great competition through its next stop at the Centurion Club in the United Kingdom from 14 to 16 July to conclude the series for the year 2023 in Hong Kong and then Riyadh.
