Defender Lucas Hernandez completed parts of the group training for the Bayern Munich football team on Tuesday, for the first time after a long absence due to injury.
Hernandez has been out of action since November due to a cruciate ligament rupture, which he suffered while participating with the French national team in the 2022 World Cup.
But Hernandez will not be ready to participate in Bayern Munich’s last match in the league this season, which is scheduled against Cologne next Saturday.
Bayern Munich occupies second place in the German League, two points behind Borussia Dortmund, and therefore Bayern needs to win, with Dortmund not winning against Mainz, to crown the title for the eleventh consecutive season.
