In the discussion, the owners and authorities approved the cancellation of repechage and implementing a variant called play-inwhich is already played in the nba.
In a statement published on the official website of the MX League, the authorities announced the 10 changes approved by the owners. At number 7 was the implementation of the Play-In format, which will consider only the 10 best teams of each semester.

The two remaining places, to complete eight participants in the league, will be disputed by the teams located in the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth steps.
In this sense, the teams located in the seventh and eighth place they will play a first duel of Play-In. The winner will keep the number 7 ticket in the league while the loser will have one more chance to access the elimination round.
