What if you were about to climb the stairs… to your cinema! A few hours before the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival, cinemas all over France are preparing to welcome some of the films screened on the Croisette in preview. Let’s remember that three films from the official selection already released in theaters is not much compared to previous years.
It is always possible to see Jeanne du Barry by Maïwenn (with Johnny Depp and Benjamin Lavernhe), Omar the strawberry by Elias Belkeddar (with Reda Kateb and Benoît Magimel) and Love and forests by Valérie Donzelli (with Virginie Efira and Melvil Poupaud).
For the films in the competition, those most in a hurry will go this weekend to one of the five Pathé rooms which, for the tenth year, are organizing preview screenings. A fine program offered by Pathé Opéra Premier in Paris, Pathé Rennes, Gaumont Nantes, Pathé Bellecour in Lyon and Pathé Wilson in Toulouse.
The others will wait for the national release of the films in theaters.
