After 8000 km traveled in three extraordinary countries it ends, Thursday 11 May at 21:15 exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOWthe extraordinary adventure of Beijing Express.
On the Way of India nine pairs, led by conductors Costantino della Gherardesca and Enzo Micciohave embarked on an exhausting and extraordinary journey, very tiring and fascinating, but now there are three of them fighting for the final victory: Joe Bastianich and Andrew Nice flower “The Italian Americans”; Caroline overflow and Barbara Prezia “The Mediterraneans”; Federica Pellegrini and Matteo Giunta “The Newly Weds”.
Their journey had started from the astounding and magical Indiahad then crossed the dense jungle of Borneo Malaysian up to the Cambodia, the land of the Khmer. Today, elimination after elimination and mission after mission, they are missing the last 172 kilometres to go through for this last stage: departure from the city of Battambangpassing through the intermediate milestone of Siem Reap and then, running, up to the grand finale among the wonders of Angkorthe most important archaeological site in the country as well as one of the most important and visited on the Asian continent, where we will finally find out which of the three couples will win the victory of this edition of the Sky Original show created by Banijay Italia.

Competing for the title of champions of this edition are: the Italian Americans Joe Bastianich and Andrea Belfioredetermined and very competitive throughout the journey, winners of three stages and in any case always in the very first positions, who let themselves be carried away by the wonder of the encounters made along the way and the places visited; the Mediterranean Carolina Stramare and Barbara Prezia, the surprise of this edition, who started out as “outsiders” and then proved that they know how to give everyone else a hard time, always very close despite the difficulties encountered episode after episode and the rivalries with other couples; hey Newlyweds Federica Pellegrini and Matteo Giuntato Beijing Express for their “honeymoon”, who showed all their will to win from the first meter of the race, conquering three stages and never losing concentration despite the ups and downs of their experience.
For the latter pair, however, the possibility of leaving for the last stage depends exclusively on the decisions of the medical staff: Federica, in fact, injured her ankle during the semi-final and reached the finish line with a conspicuous limp, and therefore at the starting line in Battambang she will inform the other pairs if she can be in the match again in this final.
