International winger Bukayo Saka has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal, believing the North London club is the right place to make the next step.

Saka played a major role in Arsenal’s competition for the league title, which Manchester City secured last week, scoring 14 goals and 11 assists in various competitions this season.

Saka (21 years old) joined the ranks of the “Gunners” at the age of eight and played all his matches in the local league in the last two seasons.

And local newspapers indicated that Arsenal extended his player’s contract until 2027.

The owner of 26 caps said: I am happy to stay here because I am convinced of great achievements.

Continue: It’s about achieving my personal goals. I have all the right people on my side, like the family, then my team-mates and the coaching staff on the training ground.

The London-born player, who started his career with Arsenal in 2018, said that the club is moving in the right direction, despite missing out on the league title in the last few yards this season and the chance to be crowned for the first time since 2004.

Paradoxically, Arsenal remained at the top of the league for 248 days, before suffering a series of negative results in the last two months that brought it down from its throne in favor of Manchester City, which has been crowned five times in the last six seasons.

Nevertheless, Arsenal will be in the Champions League for the first time since the 2017 season: time is on our side. Our squad is young and we are hungry, and many of us have yet to win titles.
