Al-Ahly qualified for the final match of the African Champions League, after defeating Tunisia’s Esperance Club 1-0, in the second leg of the semi-final round of the tournament.
And Al-Ahly had defeated Taraji 3-0 in Tunisia in the first leg, to snatch qualification after its victory 4-0 in the aggregate of the two matches.
Hussein Al-Shahat scored the only goal of the match for Al-Ahly in the 22nd minute.
Al-Ahly will meet the winner of the other match that brings together the South African Sun Downs and Moroccan Wydad, as the first-leg match ended in a goalless draw in Casablanca, and the return match will be held on Saturday in South Africa.
