Al-Ahly continued its lead in the Egyptian Football Premier League, maintaining its unbeaten record this season, after beating its guest, Enppi, with two goals without a response, on Tuesday.
Muhammad Sharif put Al-Ahly in the lead in the 29th minute, after he received a ball that was removed by one of Enppi’s defenders, so that Sherif received it with a spinning shot, and it lived in the far right corner of Reda Al-Sayed’s goal, Enppi’s goalkeeper.
Ahmed Abdel Qader doubled the score for Al-Ahly in the 35th minute, with a powerful shot, which the Enppi goalkeeper tried to block, but he completed the ball in the upper left corner.
Al-Ahly played 22 matches, won 17, drew in five matches, and did not receive any loss, raising its score to 56 points, four points ahead of second-placed Pyramids, who played 26 matches, while Enppi’s balance stopped at 36 points out of 29 matches and fell to ninth place.
