A motorist suspected of having hit a six-year-old girl in Trappes (Yvelines) on Tuesday, who died shortly after the shock, was indicted on Thursday for manslaughter by a driver who used narcotics, said the Versailles prosecutor’s office requested by the AFP. The 21-year-old woman was placed under judicial supervision, according to the same source.
The driver had been tested positive for cannabis by a first test. A second, whose results are not yet known, must determine more precisely when she ingested this substance.

“The driver said she had consumed cannabis a few days before,” a source familiar with the matter told AFP. “She is very shocked, she does not shirk her responsibility. She’s not crazy about the wheel, she takes the measure of what happened, ”added this source.
According to a police source, the little girl was crossing the road by bicycle on Tuesday evening around 8:00 p.m. when she fell while riding on the sidewalk. The driver, surprised, did not manage to avoid her and hit her, according to another police source.
