On the night of this Tuesday, May 23, a strong fire at the Lázaro Cárdenas Refinery located in Minatitlan in veracruz.

According to first reports, the fire would have started at the main entrance of the plant, to which elements of Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX). Civil protection of the state detailed that the incident began at 10:20 p.m. at the facilities of the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río Refinery in the Colonia Obrera de Minatitlán.
