Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has been accustomed to unusual methods to motivate his team’s players, since the beginning of his assumption of technical responsibility for the London team in 2019.
And the British newspaper “The Times” revealed that the Spanish coach’s latest method was to bring a dog to the Arsenal training center.
The newspaper pointed out that a “Labrador” dog came to the team’s training center last month, and wanders from time to time in the training ground between the players.
Arteta used this method to raise the morale of the players, reduce tension between them, increase calm, and add more fun.
And “Wayne”, a female, was present during the day that team goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdell renewed his contract, and its owner is a member of the team’s crew.
Wayne is not the only pet to be seen at the Gunners’ training ground, as there is a cat named Bob who was adopted after the death of his owner.
The move proved popular with the players.
