Manchester United beat nine players from Fulham 3-1, taking advantage of two consecutive goals and two expulsions in one minute, to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday.
Aleksandr Mitrovic gave Fulham a goal five minutes after the break, but a moment of madness decided the confrontation for United.
Willian touched the ball player with his hand and prevented it from entering the goal, to receive a red card after returning to the video referee, and a penalty kick was awarded in the 72nd minute. Mitrovic objected, pushed the referee, and was also sent off.
Bruno Fernandez successfully executed the penalty kick to equalize in the 75th minute, and Marcel Zapitzer added the second goal two minutes later.
In the sixth minute of stoppage time, Fernandez scored the third goal with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area.
United qualified to play in the semi-finals against Brighton & Hove Albion.
