Prince Khaled bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation of Motors and Motorcycles, explained that increasing the distance allowed for the anti-drag technology will allow drivers to overtake more and increase the excitement of the race.
And Prince Khaled stated in an interview with “In Al-Maraim”: Increasing the distance in the Jeddah circuit between the “DRS” places is to give more freedom to drivers and to make the chances of overtaking more.
He added: We put bumps outside the circuit limits, the circuit was widened, and some turns were modified to add flow and to maintain the safety of the drivers.
