This Friday, March 17, 2023 is a special day for the Irish. It is on this date that they celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day! An additional opportunity for revelers to enjoy a good Guinness (Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, editor’s note) but also and above all to… wear green. Tradition obliges, this color is honored every year in March.
The reason ? It was in 1921, with the British occupation behind it, that Ireland adopted green as its national symbol. A color that also refers to the nickname of the country which is none other than the Emerald Isle. A nickname given thanks to its sublime green landscapes. Wearing green on March 17 is therefore a way of honoring Ireland.

Kate Middleton sublime for Saint Patrick’s Day
Kate Middleton, like many people, was no exception to the rule on Friday March 17, 2023. For good reason… The Princess of Wales opted for a total green look to attend the Saint Patrick’s Day parade in Mons Barracks, in the county of Hampshire located in the south of England.
It was in the pouring rain that the wife of Prince William appeared more dapper than ever for the event. Dressed in a long duck green coat, she displayed a pretty little golden brooch in the shape of a three-leaf clover (symbol of Ireland, editor’s note) at the level of the left shoulder. To pimp it all, she also wore a matching hat and a pair of pumps. A look that suited her.
For his part, her husband displayed a much more conventional style. Namely, a long black coat on which a yellow fodder had been placed, a pair of white gloves, a burgundy belt and a cap. One thing is certain, it is that the parents of Charlotte, George and Louis caused a sensation!
