Protesters take to the tracks to block trains

The government had not yet announced the use of 49.3 to pass the pension reform. This Thursday at the end of the morning, demonstrators displaying the flags of several unions descended on the rails at the station of Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes), causing the pause of rail traffic between Nice and Cannes.

“We block everything at the Gare d’Antibes. This reform contested by 93% of the assets, seven to eight French people out of ten, will not pass. The vote of the deputies will be observed carefully, the workers will be remembered, ”said the FSU 06 in a tweet.

Half an hour break

Asked by 20 minutes, the SNCF specifies that “the necessary traffic interruption lasted only half an hour between 11:30 am and noon, causing the delay of a TER for approximately fifteen minutes”.
