Backpacking and laces tightly tied: the adventurous journey of “Beijing Express – The way to the Indies” continues tomorrow – Thursday 16 March, at 21:15, exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW – with the second stage in the heart of India.
The conductors Costantino della Gherardesca and Enzo Miccio they will guide the pairs of competitors to discover enchanting places but full of obstacles for their journey, full of ancient and unusual traditions but also of unforeseen events and unexpected twists. The road ahead in the second stage of the Sky Original journey made by Banijay Italia will be long: 435km, from Kolhapur to Hampiwhere the bet finish line will be located.

In this new episode – waiting for Thursday 16 March at 21:15 exclusively on Sky Uno and in streaming only on NOW, always available on demand and visible on Sky Go – the competitors, equipped only with a backpack containing a minimum equipment and 1 euro per day per person in local currency, will start their journey from Kolhapur, the city where the school of famous Kushti wrestlers is located. More precisely, the square in front of the Bahavani Mandap, a ceremonial area dedicated to the goddess of wealth, will be the place from which the new race of travelers will start, who also in this stage will have to try their hand at unexpected and surprising tasks, such as those in the village of Govindakoppa which will decree the couples participating in the immunity test: the latter will be a race through the incredible streets of the village, a tough test of skill that will lead the contenders to considerable physical and mental effort under the scorching Indian sun.
Among thousands of difficulties, the competitors will reach the ancient city of Hampifinish line of this episode: only at this point will it be discovered whether the stage is preliminary or not, with the black envelope that will decide the fate of one of the competing couples.
