After 38 days of absence due to his preoccupation with participating in the Club World Cup and the AFC Champions League, Al-Hilal will return on Thursday to the Saudi Roshen League competitions when it will be a guest on Al-Wahda at the King Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, within the nineteenth stage.
Al-Hilal returns to the local participation with high spirits, after achieving the FIFA Club World Cup title before reaching the final of the AFC Champions League, and thus aspires to overcome the obstacle of its host and remain at the heart of the competition for the league title.
Al-Hilal misses the efforts of its financial star, Musa Mariga, due to injury, but it includes a group of distinguished names, such as the Korean Hyun-Sun Jang, the Colombian Gustavo Cuellar, the Nigerian Odion Ighalo, Salman Al-Faraj, Salem Al-Dossary, Saud Abdul Hamid and others.
Al-Hilal ranks fourth with 32 points collected from 15 matches, 11 points behind Al-Nasr leaders who played 18 matches, while Al-Wehda ranks thirteenth with 19 points.
After four matches, during which he achieved only one point, Al-Wehda regained its balance after defeating Abha outside its bases, and Al-Khamis hopes to come out with a positive result, whether winning or drawing, to advance in the standings and move away from the relegation positions.
