This Wednesday, during the morning and early afternoon, it was the prosecutor’s office that marked the beginning of the allegations and exposed its foundations in relation to the convictions and sentences that it would request for the eight rugby players accused of the murder —which occurred in January 2020. — before the judges of the Oral Criminal Court No. 1 of Dolores. The prosecutors Gustavo García and Juan Manuel Dávila, were the ones who exposed.

First it was García who argued about the request for life imprisonment, expanding on the illegal materiality, that is, the evidence that for the prosecution supports the crime that the eight rugby players are accused of: murder aggravated by treachery and by the premeditated contest of two or more people.

After the arguments about the fact, it was the turn of prosecutor Dávila. The judicial officer noted the authorship of each of the defendants: maximum thomsen (23), Enzo Comelli (22), Matias Benicelli (23), Blas Cinalli (twenty-one), Ayrton Violaz (23), and Luciano (twenty-one), Cyrus (22) and Lucas Pertosi (23). In his plea, Dávila assured that the eight accused are “co-perpetrators” of the murder because they had “co-control of the act, the possibility of starting, continuing and stopping the causal course of the crime.”
