Once again, the authorities released Mason Greenwood, a Manchester United player competing in the English Premier League, until February, before he went to trial on charges of attempted rape and assault on a woman.
Authorities arrested the 21-year-old player in January after a woman posted photos and videos on social media condemning her physical violence.
A Manchester court released Greenwood bail last October, and he was released again until February 10, on the same terms, after appearing in court on Monday.
The trial is scheduled to begin on November 27, 2023.
Neither the player nor any representative of him has commented on the allegations at any stage.
The player is still suspended by a decision from the club until the end of the litigation procedures.
