O Colombian singer Maluma, 28, abandoned an interview with Israeli state TV on Friday (18) after the journalist asked him how he felt about performing at the Cup of the World of Qatara country that violates human rights.

He was irritated by the journalist’s insistence on addressing the issue. Before Maluma left the interview, the interviewer spoke of the reasons that led Dua Lipa and Shakira to refuse to participate in the sporting event. He then asked the singer if he had a problem with Qatar’s reputation.

The singer dodged the first question saying he is performing at the World Cup because he likes life, music and football. According to Page Six, Maluma, when pressed, got up angrily and asked someone off camera if he needed to respond and called the reporter “rude”.

Sources told the TMZ that Maluma is performing at the World Cup because he loves football and it was a dream for him to perform at the World Cup. Before becoming a singer, Maluma was a professional soccer player in Colombia.

Netizens shared the video of the singer leaving the interview and criticized. “Maluma walks out of the interview because he has no idea what arguments could be used in his favor,” one person tweeted. “Your response is terrible, Maluma,” commented another internet user.
